A contemporary visual fine artist actively uses artistic means for peaceful protest and activism, typically surrounding the fight for LGBTQ+ equality.
My artistic background stems from my UAL Fine Art qualification, completed at BMET art and design college, allowing me to move forward to studying my BA Hons Fine Art at the University of Worcester.
My work consists of an interest in LGBTQ+ activism through a multi-disciplinary practice, focusing primarily on painting mediums. I am exploring gender, sexuality, and identity ideas in a modern world where statistics are valued more than emotion. I aim to study education and knowledge onto my audience through active engagement, which may occur within a public art practice.
I consider my work to be a part of the vast collection of activist artists that help build a community to actively achieve a common goal: equality.
